Abstract

Infection control is a critical aspect of healthcare settings, aiming to prevent the spread of infectious diseases among patients, healthcare workers, and visitors. Nurses and laboratory professionals play an integral role in the prevention and management of infections, working together to ensure timely diagnosis, accurate surveillance, and appropriate interventions. This paper explores the collaboration between nursing staff and laboratory professionals in infection control, focusing on their respective roles, the importance of effective communication, and how their joint efforts enhance patient outcomes.
